Droves of Nigerians flooded the Chateu in Palos Hills on Saturday to celebrate the naming ceremony of Fathia Adufe Anifowoshe Marshal. If the last part of her name sounds familiar, it’s because she’s the youngest born of legendary Fuji musician King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall or K1 as he is popularly called. The Fuji superstar and mother of his child Fathia pulled an impressive crowd for the celebration of their baby girl, that showcased not only Nigerians in the Chicagoland area but from all around the world. The hall was majestically decorated in pink, the color of the evening. Apala musician Musiliu Haruna Ishola was the entertainer for the night. Attendees got a double dose of music when K1 himself took the stage and had the entire hall at its feet.
